Video of the buffer zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve: A 15 feet python swallowed the jackal and made it its prey as soon as it came out of the den.
Umaria. A python has swallowed a jackal in the Dhamokhar buffer zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. A very exciting video of this incident has surfaced. The python targeted the jackal at the time when the jackal was coming out of its den, the python was already present there. As soon as the jackal came out, the python caught it in its mouth and swallowed more than half of it. Shortly thereafter the jackal lost his life.
15 feet python
This incident took place in Salaiya beat of Dhamokhar range. The incident site is near the famous temple of Hanumanji, Dhaurkhoh. When the python had swallowed more than half of the jackal, people saw him. People made a video of this incident, which is now going viral. Local people told that the python which swallowed the jackal was around 15 feet in length. When such a long python filled the jackal in its mouth, he lost his life within a short time.
not a tourist zone
This part of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is outside the tourism zone, due to which tourists do not come here, but dangerous animals roam in this part of the forest too. Despite being a buffer zone, predatory animals of the forest are seen here too.
Wild boar meat party, two hunters arrested
The forest department team has arrested two accused who were having a party of wild boar meat after hunting. The arrested accused include Sujit Dumar and one of his associates Manja Prajapati. Forest Department officials said that the joint team of Pataur and Panpatha Buffer Range of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve conducted the raid.
During the operation, raw and cooked meat of wild boar was seized from the house of Sujit Dumar. Accused Sujit Dumar told that he along with his associates had hunted two wild pigs by electrocuting them near the field. Sujit’s associate Manja Prajapati has also been caught and action is being taken to register the case and present it in the court.
