Mr. Baghel informed Mr. Gadhkari that NH-53 is situated near Tatibandh Chowk, which is the junction of Raipur-Durg, Raipur-Simga, Tatibandh-Amanaka and Tatibandh-Dhamtari routes. Despite the announcement made by Mr. Gadkari on September 10, 2018, during his Chhattisgarh visit, construction of the flyover has not been started even after a year of announcement. He told that Tatibandh Chowk is one of the busiest squares of the city, and as the junction has not been constructed as per the standard parameter, number of road accidents is increasing.
