Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a self-sufficient Uttar Pradesh employment campaign through video conferencing on Friday. Apart from UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, ministers of the concerned departments will also be present during this virtual launching. This information was given by the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday.
According to the press release of the PMO, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with villagers of 6 districts of UP only through video conferencing after starting this campaign of the Uttar Pradesh government. According to the PMO, villagers from all the districts of the state can participate in this program. In addition to Sahaja Seva Kendras, farmers’ science centers will also be able to participate in the Prime Minister’s program by following social distancing.
30 lakh migrant laborers returned in UP The
Prime Minister’s Office said in its release that about 30 lakh migrant laborers have returned in Uttar Pradesh. There are more than 25 thousand migrant workers in only 31 districts of the state. In such a situation, the Yogi Adityanath government of the state has started employment arrangements for these workers, under which this self-sufficient Uttar Pradesh employment campaign is being started. It is part of the elaborate programs of the Government of India and the Government of UP, forming partnerships with industry and other organizations.
In this campaign, apart from employment, the focus will be on local entrepreneurship and partnership with industrial associations and other organizations to provide employment opportunities.
