Jammu. Pakistani troops again violated the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Monday after which the Indian Army retaliated. This information was given by an official. Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Devendra Anand said, “Pakistan fired mortar with small arms firing near the Line of Control in Mankot area of Poonch district at 10.30 am today. The Indian Army is taking strict response.”
Earlier on 25 July, Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Poonch district for the fourth consecutive day.
Pakistan has been violating ceasefire unsuccessfully since the beginning of this year. So far in the year 2020, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire more than 2,700 times, killing 21 civilians and injuring 94.
