In Delhi, there was a 42 percent decrease in coronavirus cases compared to the day before. Only 613 cases were registered in Delhi instead of 1,075. At the same time, Andhra Pradesh also saw a decrease of 20 percent and this figure was reduced to 6,051 from 7,627. On the other hand, the worst affected area of Corona also saw a decrease of 16 percent and the number of infected people decreased from 9,431 to 7,924.
According to the Union Health Ministry, with the help of these daily figures, COVID-19 cases in the country decreased and 47,703 new cases were registered. With this , the number of coronovirus infections in India reached 14.83 lakhs . At the same time, the number of deaths due to the disease has reached 33,425. In the last 24 hours, 654 people have died due to corona in the country.
It was also informed by the Ministry of Health that India’s COVID-19 death rate has fallen from 3.33 percent on June 18 to 2.25 percent at present.
The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that the death rate from Kovid-19 on June 18 was 3.3 percent, which has now come down to 2.25 percent. At the same time, the recovery rate in mid-June was around 53 percent, which has now been more than 64 percent. The ministry said that with 35,176 patients being discharged in the last 24 hours, the number of people recovering from infection in the country has increased to 9,52,743.
