New Delhi: The number of employees in railway offices will increase now. The mandatory presence of only 50 percent of the employees in the office is over. Officers can call them to work as needed so that necessary work is not affected. In the meantime, all precautionary measures will be taken to prevent corona infection.
At the time of lockdown, the number of employees in most railway offices was negligible. Officers also did not come regularly, but the presence of all officers in the office was made mandatory even before the unlock started. Initially, 33 percent of the employees were called. The number of employees coming to office in Unlock was increased to 50 percent. Barring sick, old age people living in the Containment (Seal) Zone, others are being called in turn.
This rule will still remain in force and all officers of junior grade and above will keep coming. According to this, the officers and employees below will leave the office one day according to the roster. However, this rule will depend on the requirement of the office. If the officer feels that it is necessary to call an employee, he can call him.
The risk of corona infection is not yet postponed, so physical distance, hygiene etc. will be strictly followed at the work site. All the officials have been asked to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the government.
