The Civil Aviation Ministry said in an order on Thursday, “Aviation companies can serve pre-packaged snacks / food / drinks in domestic flights depending on the duration of the flight.”
It said airlines and charter flight operators could serve hot meals and limited drinks on international flights according to international standards.
The ministry said that only once-in-use trays, plates and cutlery should be used when serving food or beverages on domestic and international flights.The order also states, ‘crew members must wear new gloves every time they serve food or drinks.’
