The Railway Ministry has now decided about 120 trains, whose proposal has been sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval. Due to the Corona Protocol, approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs is necessary for running trains. Once it is approved, then it will be decided how many trains will run and when these services can start.
To run the trains, the railways will coordinate with the states, it will be decided that which city needs how many trains. Only after this complete assessment, trains will be announced. It will be the endeavor of the Railways to restore rail connectivity in all areas of the country. And the movement of passengers should be increased.
Railways also plans to start some sub-urban trains, that is, local trains can also be announced soon. Currently, 230 trains are running.
