Demonstrations and demands of the long-agitated teacher recruitment candidates on Monday have come to fruition. While giving relief to the candidates, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has directed to submit a report in a week regarding the recruitment from the Education Department. Also asked to complete the recruitment process soon. The recruitment process has been stuck in 14850 posts in the state for about one and a half years.
Expressing displeasure over the stalled recruitment process, said- not tolerating negligence,
Chief Minister Baghel summoned officials and expressed displeasure over the delay in recruitment of the Education Department. He said, giving employment to youth is one of the priority of the government. Teacher recruitment process should be completed quickly. Unnecessary delays and negligence in the recruitment process will not be tolerated in any way, he told the officials.
Due to the corona, the result of the result was extended by one year and
education department officials said that the Directorate of Public Teaching had advertised for direct recruitment to 14580 posts on 9 March 2019. It also said that the result will be valid for one year from the date of issue. After this, due to Corona, the recruitment process could not be completed. In such a situation, the government increased its validity by one more year. The order has also been issued by the Ministry.
Attempts were made to encircle the Chief Minister’s residence
a day earlier, on Monday, a day after the demand for teacher recruitment, the candidates protested vigorously. In the afternoon, the candidates, who are protesting at the old pond, went out to encircle the CM house. However, the police stopped them in front of Kovid Hospital. After this, both sides started pushing. The candidate sat on the dharna there and demonstrated. Candidates had warned of a hunger strike from Tuesday.
