Before the commencement of the Parliament session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a strong message in which he said that Parliament stands behind our troops standing on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in a tone and gesture. However, the opposition has made it clear that it wants details from the government about the current situation on the Indo-China border. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday exuded confidence that the Parliament will give a message that it stands in solidarity with the soldiers guarding our borders.
In a clear reference to the ongoing border confrontation with China in Ladakh, Modi, in a statement to the media before the monsoon session of Parliament began, said that Indian soldiers are bravely performing their duty in difficult mountainous areas. He said that many important issues will be discussed in Parliament, the more it is discussed, the better it is. He said, “I am sure that all the MPs will collectively discuss many topics.”
