Bilaspur Lockdown: Corona virus infection has been spreading in the country for the last 6 months. Because of this, the entire lockdown remained in force throughout the country for the first three months. Now the process of unlocking is going on all over the country, but the infection is still spreading rapidly in Chhattisgarh. After a large number of fresh cases surfaced in many cities of Chhattisgarh, locals are asking for a lockdown from the administration. Recently, on the instructions of the collector, a lockdown was logged in Rajnandgaon following this demand of citizens. The lockdown is in force at the behest of the collector in many cities of Bilaspur division. In this sequence, a week long lockdown has been implemented in Mungeli district.
In view of the rising infection of global epidemic corona in Mungeli district, the lockdown has been done in the district from 17 September to 23 September on the instructions of Collector PS Elma. No business, other than shops of essential materials, have been allowed to open establishments in the city. Shops have not opened since Thursday morning. Shops are closed at Sadar Bazar, Bus Stand Road, Lorami-Kawardha Road, Raipur Road, Mungeli-Bilaspur Road. People have been appealed to follow physical distancing, wear masks and do not leave the houses at all if not necessary.
Explain that so far 857 cases of corona virus infection have been reported in Mungeli district. Of these, 334 people have recovered after treatment, while 523 people are currently being treated in Kovid hospitals. No patient has died of corona here yet. Explain that the total number of corona infects in the state has reached 73966 and so far 611 people have died due to this infectious disease here.
