Raipur: Chief Minister discusses with legal team over Mahanadi water dispute

 Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel held a discussion with the legal team on the Mahanadi water dispute between Chhattisgarh-Odisha from a video conference in his residence office today. The Chief Minister asked the team members to keep the state’s side firmly in connection with the use of Mahanadi water. He said that Mahanadi is the lifeline of Chhattisgarh. It has an important role in agriculture, industry and economy in the state. Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain and Subrata Sahu, Secretary of Water Resources Department, Mr. Avinash Champawat and Media Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Ruchir Garg were also present during this period. Legal team member Mr. A.K. Ganguly, Mr. Kishore Lahiri and Mr. Jagjit Singh joined the discussion from the video conference.
