New Delhi : Schools closed for more than five months due to Corona infection are due to reopen from Monday. As per the guidelines issued by the central government, exemption has been given to open schools for children from 9th to 12th from 21st September. At present, only those schools which are not in the Containment Zone are allowed to open. However, it will depend entirely on the parents whether they want to send their children to school or not. During this time, several measures are being adopted in schools too. Students and teachers at the school’s entry and exit gates will be sent inside only after checking the body temperature. Students, teachers and staff have been instructed to maintain physical distance. Children must also bring masks and sanitizers along with lunch and water bottles.
Unlock-4 has also provided some facilities to open schools which have been closed since March. Under this, from September 21, the state and Union Territories can allow 50 percent teaching staff in schools. During this period, students from class 9 to 12 will be able to go to school after getting the consent of the teachers. However, all other educational institutions including schools, coaching have been closed till 30 September. However, the Delhi government, meanwhile, has announced its schools to be closed till October 5.
Important guidelines for parents
Meanwhile, a full plan to open the school has been sent to the parents on behalf of the Kendriya Vidyalayas. It states that parents voluntarily send their children to school. Parents themselves will have full responsibility for transporting and taking children from school. The teachers associated with the central schools say that there will be no pressure on any child to come to school. However, those who want to come, they will have to first give information by calling and in which relation. Under this, children of 11th and 12th have to come only on Mondays and Tuesdays. The children of 10th have to come on Wednesday and Thursday and the children of ninth on Friday-Saturday.
These things have to be taken care of
– The school will have to maintain a distance of 6 feet from each other.
– It is mandatory to wear face mask.
Washing hands with soap from time to time and using an alcohol-based sanitizer is necessary.
– It is mandatory to cover mouth and nose while sneezing, coughing.
– If you feel ill, you have to inform the concerned officer immediately.
– Spitting anywhere on campus will be completely forbidden.
