Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday raised concerns about the condition of Corona in the state in the presence of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray amidst the demand to open religious places in Maharashtra. The Prime Minister was addressing a program organized through video conference on the occasion of the release of the autobiography of former Union Minister Balasaheb Vikhe Patil. Apart from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and members of the Vikhe Patil family were also present in this program.
During his address, the Prime Minister strongly appreciated the contribution of the Patil family in the field of social service along with agriculture and cooperatives and said that following the footsteps of Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, Balasaheb Vikhe Patil dedicated himself to the development of Maharashtra. Was At the end of his address, the Prime Minister said, “With great respect to Balasaheb’s entire family … because four generations were engaged in social service. It is not a small matter and it is a matter of happiness that every generation is doing more, is doing better. ”

This program was also addressed by Thackeray and Fadnavis before the Prime Minister. It is known that Balasaheb Vikhe Patil is the son of Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, who was conferred with Padma Shri. Vitthalrao Patil was instrumental in setting up Asia’s first cooperative sugar mill in Loni, Maharashtra.
Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil is a member of the third generation of this family. He has been a minister in the Maharashtra government. His son Sujay Vikhe Patil is a BJP MP from Ahmednagar Lok Sabha seat in the state.
During his address, Modi also spoke on the situation of Corona in Maharashtra and urged people to take all measures to protect themselves.
He said, “Before I end my talk, I would like to say one thing to you. I would definitely like to say to the people of Maharashtra in particular. The risk of corona still remains. This concern is more in Maharashtra.
