To empower women, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the newly constructed Bihan Cafatoria and Bihan Bazar Complex and Kalpataru Multi-Utility Center in village Serikheri at Adarsh Village Temri under Raipur district. Inaugurating these through video conferencing at his residence office here, he said that these centers will prove to be important in providing women with self-respect and opportunities for living. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri TS Singhdeo chaired the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the development of women will be coordinated with the upliftment of half the population of the society. Keeping this in mind, every possible initiative is being taken by our government to make women self-reliant, including providing employment to women in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that to enable women, they are constantly being connected to various activities and enterprises. Today two centers have been opened in Temri and Serikheri to connect women with enterprises. By opening more and more such centers, it will be extended to every village of the state, so that women can become financially competent by engaging in professional activities in every village. During this period, Chief Minister Baghel also interacted with the women of the centers of village Temri and Serikhedi and encouraged them to become competent and live with dignity
.Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri TS Singhdev while addressing the program said that he appreciated the activities conducted in the village Temri and Serikhedi and said that it was important to increase the income of women. During this, MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, MLA Mr. Anita Sharma and District Panchayat President Mrs. Domeshwari Verma also addressed. It is noteworthy that Bihan Cafeteria will be operated by Jagriti Mahila Self-Help Group in Bihan Adarsh Village Temri. Along with this, arrangements are being made to sell fresh fruits and vegetables coming from Gowthan in Bihan Fresh shop in Bihan Bazaar. With this, while the sale of the products of Gothan will benefit the women of other villages, the women of the women’s group of Temri will also benefit from it.
