Pro. Rai said that the institute will provide free of cost herbaceous herbs to the Cancer Foundation to take remedial care to manage the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The IIM professor will assist in the areas of marketing, operations, fund raising and outreach. Arrangements will also be made to reach the donor and raise funds. IIM will create a database of companies from Indore to be contacted for corporate social responsibility related activities.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore keeps striving to help the society physically, mentally and emotionally. Under this, the institute is going to take a new responsibility. The institute will provide free consultancy to the Indore Cancer Foundation.
On Thursday, IIM Indore Campus has handed over a letter of intent to the Cancer Foundation at the inauguration program of Zen Gardens and medicinal herbs. On this occasion, IIM Director Prof. Dr. Digpal Dharkar, the founder of Himanshu Rai Foundation was present. The IIM will contribute in three ways. Ayurvedic herbs will be given by the institute to reduce the side effects of cancer treatment. Strategic consultation will be provided for funding. A variety of interesting and engaging activities will be organized for cancer patients.
