Fraudsters are cheating people with new tricks. Now it is known about such thugs who make fake calls by becoming representatives of big companies like Amazon or Apple and make people their victims. Through these fake calls people are assured that there is some suspicious activity happening in their account. Once the user is convinced that there is such a problem in their account, then these thugs loot to restore the account or fix it. Users get ‘1’ dial for this. After this, the call of the users is transferred to the scammers. These scammers steal passwords, personal details, credit cards and other sensitive information.
On one such call in the name of Amazon, it was told that a suspicious purchase has been made with the help of the user’s account and this package was lost at the time of delivery. In a second call quoted by Apple, users were told that some suspicious activity was happening in their iCloud ID or that someone had accessed their account. It is very important to correct it immediately.
In fact, big companies resort to automated calls to solve their customers’ problems and lodge complaints. These fraudsters are taking advantage of this facility and making people a victim of fraud. Usually in any company call, customers are asked to solve their problem through official link only.
