Team India’s opener Rohit Sharma has passed the fitness test at the National Cricket Academy. Rohit Sharma will now leave for Australia on 12 December. Rohit Sharma, however, is not clear on how many Tests he will play for Team India. Rohit Sharma was working on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy for the last 20 days. Earlier on November 20, Rohit Sharma passed the fitness test at NCA.
According to reports, Rohit Sharma has passed the fitness test this morning. However, Rohit Sharma still will not be able to play all four Test matches against Australia. Quarantine has very strict rules in Australia. Rohit Shamaz will have to remain quarantined for 14 days after reaching Australia. In such a situation, Rohit Shamaz may be available for the last two Tests. The third Test match between India and Australia is to be played from 9 January.
Significantly, Rohit Sharma’s injury had been the subject of controversy for the last nearly two months. Rohit Sharma was a victim of hemorrhaging injury while playing in IPL. Rohit Sharma, however, was later seen playing in playoff matches.
