The construction of the Ram temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya continues. The 161 feet high temple from the ground floor is to be constructed with stones. This stone is ready to be imported from Mirzapur. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust took a sample of the stones of the Ahraura hill and sent it to the laboratory of Lucknow for testing, which has passed. After this, officials associated with the trust and the National Green Tribunal (NGT) have seen the pink stones. Please tell that the stones here have their own history. Pink stones have been used here in Ashoka Pillar. These pink stones have also been used in Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.
Ambedkar Park in Lucknow and Noida is also made of these pink stones.
The specialty of the stones of the Ahraura hill is that they have a longer lifespan and are stronger. Their brightness does not fade even in water and sunlight. Demand for stones here is increasing day by day. Chunar and Ahraura hill stones are famous in the country and abroad. The stone here is witness to many historical buildings of the country. These stones were discussed in the entire country under the BSP rule, when Mayawati used the stones here in many parts of the state including Ambedkar Park, Kanshi Ram Memorial.
