The Patna police on Tuesday resorted to lathicharge to disperse the gang, largely from Left events, as they marched to the Raj Bhavan to lodge their protest in opposition to the three farm legal guidelines. According to information company ANI, the march was organized by the members of Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sangharsh Samanvay Samiti and different Left organisations.
Thousands of Left events staff gathered on the Gandhi Maidan in afternoon and began their march. They had been stopped by the police on the Dak Bungalow Chowk. Police had positioned barricading on the chowk to forestall them from going in direction of the Raj Bhavan.
As the protesters tried to interrupt the barricading, police resorted to baton cost, leading to a conflict.

The Left events protest in Patna comes at a time when hundreds of farmers are tenting at Delhi border factors over a month to press for his or her demand to scrap the three agri legal guidelines. They worry mandis run by Agriculture Produce Market Committees (APMCs) might be closed and MSP system might be abolished in the long term.
