The Congress on Saturday introduced a serious rejig within the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) and arrange key election-related panels together with Karti’s father P Chidambaram and former Union minister Mani Shankar Aiyar in them.
The celebration has named 32 vice presidents, 57 normal secretaries and 104 secretaries within the jumbo state unit.

Tagging a tweet on the organisational modifications by the celebration in Tamil Nadu, Karti Chidambaram tweeted, “These jumbo committees serve no purpose. 32 VP, 57 GS, 104 Secretaries. None will have any authority which means no accountability.”
He tagged the Twitter handles of the Congress, TNCC, Venugopal, AICC Tamil Nadu in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao, celebration normal secretary Priyanka Gandhi and former celebration chief Rahul Gandhi.
The appointments come months forward of the Assembly polls, more likely to happen in April-May.
The Congress is more likely to contest the polls as a part of the Opposition alliance headed by the DMK to tackle the ruling AIADMK coalition.
