Kanpur police is conducting raids to trace down slain gangster Vikas Dubey’s affiliate who is needed in a case, wherein eight police personnel had been killed throughout a raid in Bikru village on July 2. The eight policemen included Deputy Superintendent of Police Devendra Mishra.
Investigating officer and Station House Officer of Kotwali police station, Sanjeev Kant Mishra, mentioned a reward of Rs 50,000 has been introduced in change of any details about accused Vipul Dubey.
He added that the police are conducting raids to trace down Vipul, whose title has cropped up through the course of investigation. Except Vipul, all different accused within the case have been arrested, mentioned Mishra.
On July 2, the police workforce had gone to Bikru village close to Kanpur to arrest Vikas Dubey in an try and homicide case. Vikas and his associates attacked the police workforce from rooftops, following which the eight policemen had been killed and few others injured. In October, police filed chargesheet towards 36 folks, together with two policemen.
