New Delhi: Uttarakhand BJP chief Bansidhar Bhagat has stirred up an argument by calling chief of opposition Indira Hridayesh a “budhia” (outdated woman) and “doobta jahaz” (sinking ship) throughout a celebration assembly in Bheemtal.
This comes two days after Hridayesh mentioned that some BJP MLAs, who should not pleased with the celebration, are in her contact.
Bhagat who’s on a state-wide tour forward of the meeting polls, mentioned, “Our LoP is saying that several MLAs are in our touch…arre budhia, tujhse kyun sampark karengey? (Why would get into contact with an old lady?” His remark evoked a burst of laughter from the BJP employees who had been attending the occasion right here.

Responding to his remarks, Hridayesh mentioned, “I have heard the hurtful language used against me. As the president of the BJP’s state unit, he is a representative of the party itself. I am deeply hurt and want the matter to be taken cognisance of, and an apology issued.”
