Cricket Australia has issued an unreserved apology to the Indian cricket staff after racist abuse from the group on the Sydney Cricket Ground in direction of the members of the visiting facet.
On Saturday, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah have been focused with racial abuse by a piece of the group at SCG. After Siraj confronted additional abuse from the group on Sunday, the safety officers eliminated six followers from the stadium.

“If you interact in racist abuse, you aren’t welcome in Australian cricket.
“CA is awaiting the result of the International Cricket Council’s investigation into the matter reported on the SCG on Saturday. Once these accountable are recognized, CA will take the strongest measures attainable below our Anti-Harassment Code, together with prolonged bans, additional sanctions and referral to NSW Police.
“As series hosts, we unreservedly apologise to our friends in the Indian cricket team and assure them we will prosecute the matter to its fullest extent.”
Venues New South Wales’ Chief Executive Kerrie Mather stated that the CCTV footage was reviewed to help the ICC investigation.
