Ravindra Jadeja, who sustained a dislocated thumb through the third India vs Australia Test, was seen padded up within the dressing room as his teammates put up a courageous combat on the fifth and ultimate day on Monday. Alongside him, he had Navdeep Saini, who will presumably comply with him within the batting order, serving to him have a banana.

During the second session, as Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin placed on a dogged resistance to see out the Australian bowlers, the cameras confirmed Jadeja padded up and able to bat, with two hours of the Test nonetheless left.

Jadeja was hit on the thumb off Mitchell Starc’s supply through the first innings of the Sydney Test, and didn’t bowl for the whole thing of Australia’s second innings. There have been doubts over his participation within the Test after the blow he suffered.
The collection is at the moment tied at 1-1, with the SCG Test to resolve who goes up within the collection earlier than the 4th and final Test later this week.
