Wasim Jaffer has heaped reward on former India batsman Rahul Dravid for his efforts to offer the nationwide aspect with ‘match-ready’ children. Dravid, present NCA (National Cricket Academy) chief, has labored with many abilities together with Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar who’re part of India’s Playing XI within the on-going Gabba Test in opposition to Australia.

Washington Sundar, who earned his maiden Test call-up on Friday, had labored with Dravid within the Under-19 group. In reality, it was Dravid who had urged Sundar to tweak his position to a bowling all-rounder.
“I am essentially an opener but when I joined the India under-19 team, Rahul Dravid Sir asked me to bat in the middle-order and wanted me to bowl off-spin a lot more. I adjusted to the role,” Sundar had advised Sportstar.
