Hostel Inmates Protesting at Utkal University

As per studies, rigidity ran excessive on the Utkal University campus following the conflict between the 2 pupil teams of Gopabandhu Hostel over ‘substandard’ meals being served on the Varsity canteen.
While one group reportedly complained of being served ‘substandard’ meals, the opposite group protested the claims which turned uglier.
“Non-students attacked the students inside the campus with sticks and used abusive languages. Students’ Union strongly condemns this act. We will hold a hunger strike and continue it till stern actions are not taken against the hooligans and all our demands are fulfilled,” stated a pupil, Bhabyaranjan.
Till the final report got here in, a group of Commissionerate Police had reached the spot to pacify the scholars and produce the state of affairs underneath management.
