Bihar DGP S Ok Singhal on Tuesday stated the police had been near fixing Indigo government Rupesh Kumar Singh’s homicide case and had zeroed in on two potential motives behind the killing.
Rupesh was shot lifeless in entrance of his Patna residence final week.
At press convention on Tuesday, DGP Singh stated, “We have narrowed it down to two possible reasons — contracts allotted to his family members and relatives or a row over allotment of the airport parking lot contract. The latter looks to be the most possible reason. We are close to solving the case.”
Singh didn’t reveal the variety of suspects within the case.
According to police sources, all digital and forensic proof has been gathered. “We are looking into the entire process of parking lot contract allotment at the airport and what role Rupesh had to play in it,” stated a police officer.
According to PTI, Singhal was on Tuesday summoned by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who took inventory of the probe into the high-profile homicide case which has introduced the federal government beneath heavy opposition hearth.
