The making of vaccines towards the lethal Covid-19 virus will likely be showcased throughout the Republic Day parade on January 26 at Rajpath in New Delhi. India has two indigenous vaccines, Covaxin and Covishield, and a large-scale inoculation programme began from January 16, 2021.

“Outside the Cabin the Phase-3 Clinical Trial on Human beings is showcased,” mentioned an official from the division.
The official mentioned that the division of biotechnology is targeted on creating an ecosystem to foster modern product improvement, with societal relevance.
“The development of indigenous vaccines, novel point-of-care diagnostics and therapeutic formulations based on traditional knowledge to establishment of research resources and offering services,” the official mentioned.
