The Centre plans to inform a system of imposing “green tax” on older autos in a transfer to disincentivise the usage of polluting autos, and to curb air pollution within the nation.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has accepted the proposal and the centre has despatched it to the states for session after which will probably be notified.
