The nation’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Thursday reported a 26 per cent enhance in its consolidated web revenue to Rs 1,996.7 crore for the third quarter, pushed by greater gross sales.
The auto main had posted a web revenue of Rs 1,587.4 crore within the October-December quarter of the earlier fiscal.
Total income from operations rose 13 per cent to Rs 23,471.3 crore for the third quarter as in opposition to Rs 20,721.8 crore in the identical interval final fiscal, MSI mentioned in a press release.
During the December quarter, the corporate offered 4,95,897 autos, up 13.4 per cent in comparison with the identical interval earlier fiscal.
Sales within the home market stood at 4,67,369 models, a development of 13 per cent, whereas exports surged 20.6 per cent to twenty-eight,528 models, it added.
Adding a notice of warning, Maruti Suzuki India mentioned, “These results have to be viewed in the context that in the previous year FY2019-20, sales volume declined by 16 per cent for the company and about 18 per cent for the industry”.
On a standalone foundation, the corporate posted a web revenue of Rs 1,941.4 crore, up 24 per cent in opposition to Rs 1,564.8 crore within the year-ago interval.
Standalone income from operations rose 13 per cent year-on-year to Rs 23,457.8 crore for the interval underneath evaluation.
