At least 10 individuals have been killed and 15 others injured after a pick-up van carrying them overturned in Odisha’s Koraput district on Sunday, a police officer mentioned.
The accident befell close to Murtahandi underneath Kotpad police station limits when a bunch of round 30 individuals from neighbouring Chhattisgarh have been returning to their village after attending a mourning ritual of a relative.
While 10 individuals died on the spot, the 15 injured have been taken to a hospital at Kotpad, Koraput Superintendent of Police Varun Guntupalli mentioned.
The situation of 10 of the injured was said to be vital.
The pick-up van was coming back from Sindhigaon in Koraput district when it overturned apparently after the driving force misplaced management of the automobile, police mentioned.
