Maharashtra Police on Sunday arrested a Khalistan supporter in Nanded district. Identified as Sarabjeet Singh Kirat, the Khalistan supporter is a resident of Ludhiana.
A joint operation was launched by Punjab CIB with Nanded Police following which Kirat was held on Sunday evening. An FIR has been registered below Section 154 CrPC in opposition to Kirat.

Meanwhile, in a special case, a person accused in a case of illegal actions has been arrested from Nanded in Maharashtra by Punjab police with the assistance of their native counterparts, an official mentioned on Tuesday.
The accused, recognized as Gurpinder Singh (aged round 40), a local of Punjab’s Muktsar district, was accused below provisions of the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Nanded police official instructed PTI. The police didn’t disclose every other particulars of the case.
The accused had fled from Amritsar and was working in Nanded since a while, the official mentioned. The Punjab police with the assistance of their counterparts in Nanded caught the accused on Sunday, he mentioned.
On Monday, he was produced earlier than a Nanded court docket which handed him over to the Punjab police, he mentioned. No prohibited materials was seized from him, he added.
