Actor Taapsee Pannu will play the lead function in Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming directorial Dobaaraa. Touted to be a “new age thriller”, the makers introduced the challenge on Friday with an intriguing teaser.
In the teaser, Pannu, who’s on their lonesome at her home, asks Alexa to play one thing edgy and shocking. Just then Kashyap seems on the actor’s tv display, providing Pannu an opportunity to do one thing “edgy” collectively.
While Taapsee Pannu is averse to doing the standard Anurag Kashyap form of cinema, he informs her that he has already ship her the script which is mendacity on her sofa. In the midst of all of it, Kashyap even hints at time journey, which could simply be part of Dobaaraa’s plot. When Pannu asks in regards to the movie’s title, Kashyap asks her to verify the time. Just then, Taapsee’s watch reveals 02:12, which in Hindi reads as ‘Do Baaraa’ or ‘Dobaara’.
Speaking about teaming up with Anurag Kashyap but once more after Manmarziyaan (2018), Taapsee Pannu stated in a press release, “This is going to be one of its kind thriller. I have been very lucky with the thriller genre in my career so far, and I always look forward to pushing the envelope under this genre.”
