A plea in search of an additional alternative for candidates who had exhausted their final try in JEE Advanced 2020 was adjourned by the Supreme Court on Monday. The plea was filed for the scholars who had confronted hardships as a result of coronavirus pandemic. Advocate Mathews J. Nedumpara within the court docket at present mentioned an additional alternative was required as solely two alternatives got for JEE and since the coronavirus pandemic had additionally affected the research of the candidates. 

The matter was heard by a bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar, who proceeded to direct the Counsel for the Petitioner to attend for the reserved judgement within the matter.

Earlier on February 9, the court docket had reserved the judgement on the petition in search of an extra probability for these candidates who had exhausted their final try within the Civil Service Examination held in October 2020. 

The court docket had heard the submissions of Senior Advocates Shyam Divan, Pallav Shishodia, ASG SV Raju and others within the case.
