Actor Regé-Jean Page, who is understood for starring in Bridgerton, has reportedly joined the solid of Dungeons and Dragons movie.
Page will star alongside Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Justice Smith, within the film directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Game Night).
The director duo can also be writing the latest model of the script, which is predicated on a draft by Michael Gilio.
Dungeons & Dragons was first tailored into a movie in 2000. The movie, which starred Justin Whalin, Marlon Wayans, and Jeremy Irons, was a flop.
The upcoming model has been within the works for years. It was first being made by Warner Bros with Ansel Elgort thought-about for the lead position. At the time, filmmaker Rob Letterman was on board to direct the film. Now, the movie has moved to Paramount.
The studio is co-producing and co-financing the movie with Hasbro and eOne. The movie is slated for launch on May 27, 2022. Page received hearts because the Duke of Hastings within the Shonda Rhimes-produced Bridgerton.
The sequence broke the file for Netflix’s most-watched authentic sequence ever, and Page was not too long ago nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for his position within the present.
