Hrithik Roshan reaches Mumbai crime department to file assertion in Kangana Ranaut-fake e mail ID case

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan on Saturday arrived at Mumbai Police Commissioner’s workplace to file his assertion in a pretend e mail ID case.
Mumbai Police Crime Branch had summoned him in connection together with his 2016 grievance about pretend emails in his title to Kangana Ranaut, asking him to go to Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) on the commissioner’s workplace on Saturday afternoon.

In his grievance, Roshan had alleged that somebody was impersonating him and was emailing actor Ranaut from a bogus e mail ID in his title. The grievance had sparked a spat between the 2.
A case below sections 419 (dishonest by personation) of IPC and sections 66C (id theft), 66D (dishonest by personation utilizing laptop assets) of the Information Technology Act was lodged in opposition to an unknown individual at Cyber Police Station.
In December 2020, Roshan’s lawyer had approached the Mumbai police commissioner over the pending probe, following which it was transferred to the Crime Branch’s CIU, an official informed PTI.
