IT Min invitations purposes for 2nd spherical of electronics manufacturing below PLI

The authorities has began inviting purposes for the second spherical of large-scale electronics manufacturing below the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme with give attention to some digital elements like motherboards, semiconductor gadgets, amongst others.
The software window for the scheme has been opened until March 31, which can be additional prolonged, as per pointers issued by Ministry of Electronics and IT.
“The second round of the PLI scheme is open for accepting applications. The tenure of the second round of PLI scheme is for four years and the incentive shall be applicable from April 1, 2021,” an official memorandum dated March 11 stated.
The first spherical of the scheme was open for receiving purposes until July 31 which attracted participation from international majors like Apple’s contract producers Foxconn.
