Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday urged farmers to droop their protest in opposition to farm legal guidelines amid the Covid-19 state of affairs, claiming that their actions to and from dharna websites have been spreading the an infection in villages.

“The government will provide free insurance of Rs 2 lakh on the death of a person up to the age of 50 from poor families. The premium of Beema Yojana will be deposited by the state government in their accounts and from the same account, the amount of premium will be deducted”, Khattar stated.
Meanwhile, in wake of the pandemic, the Haryana authorities on May 10 introduced a lockdown within the state until May 17.
