LOS ANGELES: “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner has joined the forged of “The Staircase”, a real crime restricted collection from the streamer HBO Max.
The Emmy nominated actor will function within the eight-part drama alongside Colin Firth, Toni Collette, Juliette Binoche, Rosemarie DeWitt and Parker Posey.
The collection revolves round crime novelist Michael Peterson (Firth), his sprawling North Carolina household and the suspicious loss of life of his spouse, Kathleen (Collette).
Turner will play Margaret Ratliff, considered one of Peterson’s adopted daughters who’s satisfied of his innocence, within the collection, reported Deadline.
Margaret and her sister Marth had been adopted by Peterson after their mom Elizabeth, a buddy of the household, died in Germany, after additionally being discovered on the backside of a staircase.
Antonio Campos of “The Devil All the Time” fame will direct six episodes of the collection.
He may also function author and showrunner together with Maggie Cohn, recognized for her work on “American Crime Story”.
