Filmmaker and activist Aisha Sultana on Monday approached the Kerala High Court in search of anticipatory bail within the sedition case filed in opposition to her by the Lakshadweep Police, information company ANI reported.

A local of Lakshadweep’s Chetlat island, Sultana has been within the forefront of the marketing campaign in opposition to the lately proposed laws and controversial reform measures which have triggered widespread anger amongst locals.
However, a number of politicians and activists have spoken in opposition to submitting a sedition case in opposition to the activist.
