In the closed season for the expansion of fishes, fishing is totally closed until fifteenth August.

It is knowledgeable to most of the people by the Assistant Director Fisheries that protecting in view the breeding of fishes within the wet season, with the intention to defend them, underneath Section-3, sub-section-2 (two) of Chhattisgarh River Fisheries Act 1972 within the state. The interval from 16 June to fifteen August has been declared as “Band Ritu (Close Season)”. For violation of those guidelines, underneath Rule 3 (5) of the Chhattisgarh State Fisheries (Amendment) Act, there’s a provision of imprisonment for one yr or a positive of Rs 10,000 or each collectively on conviction.
