Asian Paints on Tuesday reported an over twofold enhance in its consolidated revenue to Rs 574.30 crore for the primary quarter ended June 30, 2021, on account of upper income from operations.
The firm had posted a revenue of Rs 219.61 crore throughout the April-June quarter of the earlier fiscal.
Its income from operations throughout April-June 2021 jumped 91.1 per cent to Rs 5,585.36 crore as towards Rs 2,922.66 crore in the identical interval earlier fiscal, Asian Paints stated in a regulatory submitting.
Asian Paints Managing Director and CEO Amit Syngle stated, “The domestic decorative business more than doubled its volume and delivered stellar revenues over the lower base of last year which had suffered from the first nationwide lockdown.”
Syngle added that the enterprise registered sturdy compounded common growths in worth and quantity as compared with Q1 FY20 which was a traditional quarter, indicative of a powerful constant trajectory.
The firm’s industrial enterprise and the house enchancment enterprise additionally doubled its income on final yr’s low base, Syngle stated.
