Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Wednesday stated it’s rising the guarantee on batteries for its self-charging hybrid electrical automobiles (SHEVs) with impact from August.
The firm is extending guarantee on the batteries from the prevailing three years or 100,000 kilometres to eight years or 1,60,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) for all its SHEV fashions – Toyota Camry and Vellfire, offered with impact from August 1, 2021, TKM stated in an announcement.
The transfer is in step with the corporate’s dedication to encourage the adoption of electrified automobiles within the nation, it added.
