Jitendra Kumar Maurya, Barabanki: A surprising revelation has come to mild in a joint raid by the police and the excise staff at a licensed liquor store in Barabanki, UP. On Friday, the police recovered an enormous amount of faux QR code stickers, vials, lids, 3 liters of spurious liquor and money of Rs 89,380 and arrested two accused and despatched them to jail. According to the police, this black enterprise was happening on the authorities nation liquor store close to Terasani village of Masauli police station space. Its license was within the title of Fekni Devi, a resident of Jaunpur. On the directions of SP Yamuna Prasad, Ramnagar CO Dinesh Kumar Dubey together with Masauli police station and excise staff performed raids late on Thursday evening. Where Ashok Jaiswal and Manish Gupta, residents of Chandauli district, who have been making spurious liquor, have been arrested. According to the accused, the enterprise of adulterated liquor was being carried out for five to six months. The accused instructed that they used to take out half the liquor from a bottle with out a lid with a syringe and fill it with water by mixing the identical quantity of intoxicant in it. At the identical time, after opening the lid of the plastic bottle, filling the faux liquor and placing it on the QR code, used to promote it at authorities costs. Police and Excise staff have taken motion. The ASP stated that spurious liquor was being bought on authorities contracts. The license holder will likely be arrested quickly. .
