Director Bassam Tariq, who is about to deal with Marvel Studios’ movie adaptation of the favored comedian Blade, says that his tackle the character pays a tribute to the actor Wesley Snipes’ movie trilogy.
Oscar winner Mahershala Ali is about to play the titular vampire hunter within the new film, taking on from Snipes, who essayed the function within the 1998 hit and its two sequels.
Playwright Stacy Osei-Kuffour is writing the script of the movie with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige producing.
During a latest interview with IndieWire, Tariq promised that his model will honour Snipes’ contribution to the superhero style.
“What’s exciting about the film that we’re making is (there) hasn’t been a canon for ”Blade”, as we’re studying by the comics and every part,” the director, finest identified for making the Riz Ahmed-starrer “Mogul Mowgli”, mentioned.
