MALKANGIRI: The Odisha Police together with the BSF have busted a Maoist camp in Odisha’s Malkangiri district, and seized explosives and Naxal materials, a senior official mentioned.
The camp was situated atop Tulsi Hill, SP Prahallad Sahay Meena mentioned.
Based on intelligence reviews that Maoists had assembled within the space on the evening of October 14, personnel of the Special Operation Group, District Voluntary Force and Border Security Force launched a joint combing operation the next day, resulting in an alternate of fireplace.
“The Naxals fled the camp taking advantage of the hilly terrain,” Meena mentioned.
He mentioned police recovered eight detonators and paperwork associated to Maoist literature from the realm.
