LOS ANGELES: Actor-filmmaker Ben Stiller will direct and star together with Oscar winner Cate Blanchett within the big-screen tackle the Sixties British collection “The Champions”.
As per Variety, the film will honour the unique espionage collection that was created by Dennis Spooner for British community ITV in 1968.
It follows three United Nations brokers whose airplane crashes into the Himalayas.
Upon being rescued by a sophisticated civilisation secretly dwelling in Tibet, they’re granted enhanced mental and bodily talents.
When the brokers return to the surface world, they use their new superhuman talents to turn into champions of regulation, order and justice.
Besides performing in and directing the film, Stiller will produce the venture by his Red Hour Productions alongside Blanchett and her firm Dirty Films.
