LOS ANGELES: “Stranger Things” star David Harbour is ready to star within the coal-dark vacation thriller “Violent Night” from Universal Pictures.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the characteristic movie can be helmed by Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola recognized for films like “Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters” and “Dead Snow”.
Wirkola will direct “Violent Night” from an unique screenplay by Pat Casey and Josh Miller, the writing workforce behind “Sonic the Hedgehog”.
The movie is produced by 87North’s Kelly McCormick and David Leitch.
Universal will distribute the movie, which can be theatrically launched on December 2, 2022, in all territories.
Harbour was final seen in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s superhero movie “Black Widow”.
He will reprise his position as Jim Hopper within the fourth season of the favored sci-fi drama collection “Stranger Things”, which can premiere on Netflix in summer season 2022.
