Sambalpur: Tightening the noose across the neck of corrupt officers Odisha Vigilance on Thursday apprehended the Revenue Inspector of Parmanpur beneath Sason Police limits in Sambalpur district of Odisha whereas he was demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 15,000 from a complainant.
The mentioned Revenue Inspector has been recognized as Bhikari Charan Kusum.
As per experiences, the Vigilance sleuths apprehended Kusum when he was demanding and accepting Rs 15,000 from a complainant as a way to course of his file for issuance of Record of Rights (RoR) within the identify of his father.
The complete bribe cash has been recovered from Kusum and seized.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.37 dt.17.11.2021 U/s 7 P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
